Michigan: God’s High Five

Back when my daughter, Isobel, was little, and she was starting to understand geography and maps, she was fascinated with our own home state of Michigan. I asked her once what she thought it looked like (the answer we were going for was, “a mitten”). Her answer?

“I think it looks like God’s own personal High five!”

The Pure Michigan, Hand Lettered Design

Yeah, that’s my kid.

Fast Forward about ten years or so. That same precocious child is now a lovely young lady with some amazing hand lettering skills. She brought this one to me so that I could digitize it.

You know I just had to make it into a t-shirt. It’s just that awesome.

You can find these very cool shirts (as well as cards, stickers, and other swag) at our Zazzle Store.
